WE-CARE Milestones
Over the years, WE-CARE Foundation has reached key milestones—from establishing Liberia’s first public library to training hundreds of teachers across the country. Each milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to literacy, education, and community empowerment.
Printed, packaged and distributed WE-CARE’s primary supplementary readers based on quantity per county for the Ministry of Education under Global Partnership for Education funding 2013 and 2014.
Supplied WE-CARE’s primary supplementary readers for Liberia Teacher Training Program (LTTP) a USAID funded program 2011 and 2014.
Conducted primary C certification teacher training for untrained teachers for Firestone, More than Me and Street Child and other companies and organizations 2015 and 2016
Developed and conducted early childhood education C certificate teacher training for untrained Early Childhood Education in-service teachers from six counties for Ministry of Education under Global Partnership for Education funding 2019.
Implemented community based ECE for MoE under Global Partnership for Education with funding from the World Bank 2020
Adapted and aligned to the ECE curriculum open-source books and developed sign language and audio versions and created eBooks for MoE under Global Partnership for Education with funding from the World Bank 2023.
